About This Plant

Alocasia Melo Aurea Variegated #2 — exact specimen pictured. Variegation: aurea (lime and butter yellow). Rooted in a chunky aroid mix.

The Vibe: Melo is the cozy, chunky little Alocasia everyone falls for — thick, rounded leaves with that soft, almost leathery texture you want to touch. This girl turns it all the way up. Two of her three leaves are marbled edge to edge in lime and butter yellow, swirled like watercolor, while the third stays deep, moody green with just a glow of lime pooling in the center. That contrast is pure magic on a shelf. She's compact, she's full of personality, and she'll make every other plant nearby look a little plain. One of one — and once she's gone, she's gone.

What You Will Receive:

  • 🌱 The Exact Plant Pictured: This is a one-of-a-kind, WYSIWYG plant — you'll receive the exact rooted plant shown in the photo and video.
  • ✨ A note on variegation: Variegation is living and unstable by nature — every new leaf is a surprise, and future variegation (or reversion) can't be guaranteed. That's the thrill of a variegated collector plant.

Grower's Pro Tip:
She's already rooted and established in a chunky, airy aroid mix, so she's off to a strong start. When she's ready for her next repot, keep a bag of Root-Phoria Diva, our premium Alocasia mix, on hand and she won't miss a beat.
