Alocasia Watsoniana Doff Aurea Variegated

Alocasia Watsoniana Doff Aurea Variegated — exact specimen pictured. Variegation: aurea (gold).

The Vibe: She looks like a painting. This Alocasia Watsoniana Doff Aurea Variegated is the rare Doff form — a soft, velvety-matte finish instead of the usual glossy shine — and that matte surface makes her variegation look almost hand-painted. Huge sweeps of buttery yellow pour across her thick, corrugated leaf, broken up by bold patches and freckles of deep forest green, with Watsoniana's signature pale veins tracing through it all. Hold her in the light and she glows like old gold. A Doff Watsoniana is already special; an aurea one like this is the kind of plant you don't let get away.

What You Will Receive:

• 🌱 The Exact Plant Pictured: This is a one-of-a-kind, WYSIWYG plant — you'll receive the exact rooted plant shown in the photo and video.
• 🍃 The Doff Form: "Doff" refers to her matte leaf finish — a distinct form from the standard glossy Watsoniana.
• ✨ A note on variegation: Variegation is living and unstable by nature — every new leaf is a surprise, and future variegation (or reversion) can't be guaranteed. That's the thrill of a variegated collector plant.

Grower's Pro Tip:
She's already rooted and established, so she's off to a strong start — keep her warm, humid, and in bright indirect light. Keep a bag of our premium Alocasia substrate, Root-Phoria Diva, on hand for her next repot and she won't miss a beat.
