- 🧵 Cotton Wicking Cord: A generous length of premium cotton capillary cord — simply cut it into 16 wicks, one per pot, to draw water from the reservoir straight into the soil.

Simple Setup:
- Cut the cotton wicking cord into 16 pieces and thread one through the drainage holes of each 2-inch pot.
- Add water to the bottom tray, keeping the level below where the pots will sit. Only the wicks should reach the water — the pots themselves should stay dry above it.
- Place the 16-pot insert over the tray.
- Drop your threaded pots into the insert, making sure each wick dangles down into the water below. If a pot is touching the water, pour a little out.
Every setup is a little different — results depend on your substrate, wick, pot size and growing conditions. Check moisture for the first couple of weeks and adjust to your plants' needs.
