Alocasia Black Velvet Gold Variegated — exact specimen pictured. Variegation: gold. Rooted in a Root-Phoria blend.
The Vibe: The Alocasia Black Velvet is a jewel-box favorite — compact, dramatic, with thick, velvety near-black leaves traced by bright silver veins. This one is extra special: rare gold variegation breaks across that dark velvet canvas in splashes of warm butter-gold, like sunlight caught on midnight. A true collector's unicorn and a showstopper in miniature. Rooted in a Root-Phoria blend.
What You Will Receive:
- 📸 WYSIWYG: You will receive the exact plant pictured in this listing.
- 🎲 A Note on Variegation: Her gold variegation will shift and develop leaf to leaf as she matures — the exact final expression is nature's call, never guaranteed.
Grower's Pro Tip:
Good news — she's already established in a blend of our own premium aroid substrate, Root-Phoria, the chunky mix we trust for strong, healthy roots, so she's arriving off to an ideal start. Keep a bag on hand for her next repot and she won't miss a beat.
