Alocasia Frydek Mutation "Indonesian Manta Ray"

Alocasia Frydek Mutation "Indonesian Manta Ray" — exact specimen pictured. Natural leaf mutation. Rooted in a chunky aroid mix.

The Vibe: You know Frydek — but you've never seen her like this. This Alocasia Frydek Mutation "Indonesian Manta Ray" has broken away from the classic narrow arrowhead and spread into a wide, sweeping, wing-like leaf that really does look like a manta ray gliding through water. Instead of the usual dark velvet, she's a fresh, luminous green, lit down the center by a glowing pale midrib and veins that catch the light like moonlight. She's soft, she's strange in the best way, and she's the plant your Frydek-loving friends won't believe exists. A mutation like this is one of a kind — don't let her glide away.

What You Will Receive:

• 🌱 The Exact Plant Pictured: This is a one-of-a-kind, WYSIWYG plant — you'll receive the exact rooted plant shown in the photo and video.
• 🧬 A note on her form: Her unique leaf shape and coloring come from a natural mutation, not variegation. Mutations are living traits — future leaves may express them more or less strongly, and that can't be guaranteed.

Grower's Pro Tip:
She's already rooted and established in a chunky, airy aroid mix, so she's off to a strong start — keep her warm, humid, and in bright indirect light. Keep a bag of our premium Alocasia substrate, Root-Phoria Diva, on hand for her next repot and she won't miss a beat.
