Alocasia Longiloba Green on Green Variegated

Alocasia Longiloba Green on Green Variegated — exact specimen pictured. Variegation: green on green. Rooted in a chunky aroid mix.

The Vibe: The Alocasia Longiloba Green on Green Variegated is variegation for the purist — no white, no pink, just green talking to green. Her leaf glows a bright, almost chartreuse lime, and across it drift bold marbled sectors of deeper forest green, like shadows of leaves cast onto a leaf. It’s subtle from across the room and mesmerizing up close, with the long, elegant arrowhead shape Longiloba is loved for. She’s young and just getting started, so every new leaf is a fresh roll of the green-on-green dice. As a true one-of-one, the exact plant you see here is the exact plant that comes home to you. An easy-going, unusual unicorn for the collector who appreciates the quiet kind of rare.
